After Google completed the acquisition of the robotics company Boston Dynamics in December 2013, there have been several attempts to create a new generation of robots capable of navigating difficult terrain.
During all this time, Boston Dynamics has not revealed much information about what it is developing in its laboratories in Waltham, Massachusetts, USA Even so and thanks to a YouTube video we have been able to see what the company owned by Google is working on .
It is a new robot, called Spot, capable of walking through hostile terrain and through places full of obstacles. Spot weighs around 160 pounds (72 kilograms) and has an electrical power that allows it to function both indoors and outdoors, adapting to its environment in the best possible way.
