“For a greater Internet capacity in Latin America”
This is the title of the article that they have just published on the Google blog, where they comment on the result of a partnership between Algar Telecom (Brazil), Antel (Uruguay), Angola Cables and Google.
This is a project that will connect a population of almost 300 million Internet users (in Latin America) to offer a faster, safer and more useful connection, building the project [MONET], a 10,000 km submarine fiber optic cable that will connect Boca Raton, Florida, with two Brazilian cities: Santos and Fortaleza, increasing the existing Internet capacity.
