The newsletters and advertising emails bring at the end a link with the option to unsubscribe, often in minimal print and hidden among a lot of other things, making it very difficult to find it. But that will change starting this week, when Gmail will add a button at the beginning of these emails to unsubscribe.
The option was in testing for a few weeks with a limited group of users, and will now be expanded to everyone with a Gmail account, Google announced. The change simply makes it easier to find the link to unsubscribe, which will likely incentivize more people to get rid of some emails that were lazy to look for the link at the end of the message.
