The South Korean firm officially announced the launch of a smaller version of the Galaxy S5 smartphone, as it happened with previous versions such as the Galaxy S4.
The S5 mini has a screen size of 4.5 inches, the Galaxy S5 reaches 5.1 inches, with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels, a far cry from the 1,920 x 1,080 pixels of the top model. In addition, it incorporates an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front camera, designed for video calls and self-portraits or selfies.
One of the great differences with respect to the star model of the South Korean is inside. The processor is quad-core at 1.4Ghz, a far cry from the 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 chip built into the S5, and it comes with 1.5GB of RAM.
