The Fossil Group and Intel Corporation announced that they will join forces in a collaboration to continue developing wearable technology for the fashion industry.
The Fossil Group, an international design, marketing and distribution company specializing in fashion accessories, will collaborate with Intel, a leading and innovative company in the technology industry, to identify, support and develop emerging trends in the field of wearable technology. The companies will work together on emerging products and technologies that will be developed for the fashion consumer. The Fossil Group is committed to leadership in the industry, and its collaboration with Intel will enable iconic brands in its portfolio to engage in wearable technology in a modern way.

Additionally, the Fossil Group will work closely with Intel Capital, Intel’s global investment organization, to identify and evaluate joint ventures in emerging technologies, accelerate industry innovation, and stay ahead of trends in apparel consumption. Intel Capital has invested in a wide range of wearables business initiatives, including Thalmic Labs and Basis.
