The new device presents a 5.5-inch screen, with a resolution of Full HD-1,920 by 1,080 pixels; Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC with 2.5 GHz quad-core processor and 3 GB of RAM; 16 GB internal memory expandable by microSD up to 64 GB.
As for the cameras, it presents a 16 megapixel main camera with double LED flash, and the front one with 8 megapixels; 3,100 mAh battery. There is no lack of LTE connectivity or the usual WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, as well as Dual SIM support, and Android 4.4 KitKat.
But beyond its technical specifications, what is really remarkable is its eye scanner. It integrates an Eyeprint ID biometric sensor, developed by EyeVerify; you just have to look at the front camera and in a second (actually 800 milliseconds) the terminal would be unlocked. Other possible uses would be to make payments and access encrypted content.
