Recently the social network presented its new system for recognizing people called ‘Deep face’, with which you can contrast two images of a face and show up to 97% certainty that it is the same person.
On the other hand, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has announced its own recognition system called Next Generation identification (NGI), ensures that it will gather millions of photos in a large database that will cover the 50 states of the American Union later this year. However, it is not as good as Facebook.
Experts in this new system point out on the Verge website that the FBI system shows per suspect, a classified list of 50 possibilities and only 85% accuracy.
