Until now, Facebook had an indicator that showed how often an ad ended in a successful purchase, but these results were measured based on each device. Now, as the company has announced, if a user sees an ad on their phone and then uses their PC to buy the product that ad was offering, Facebook will be able to track those actions and report it to advertisers.
Thanks to the new tool that Facebook makes available to advertisers, they will be able to recognize on which devices people see their ads and on which devices they end up buying their products.
