Mark Zuckerberg has visited Colombia to promote Internet.org, the non-profit organization that promotes Facebook to bring the Internet to developing countries and the most disadvantaged population.
The objective is to connect two thirds of the people on the planet who currently cannot access the Internet connection or do not use it.
In this context, Internet.org has just sealed an agreement with the Colombian government to allow low-end mobile users to access various content on the network at no cost.
Zuckerberg has argued that bringing the Internet to developing countries would create 140 million jobs and lift 160 million people out of poverty.
