According to calculations coming directly from the Redmond giant, its systems block an average of 10 million spam messages every minute. Here both emails with a pure and hard “phishing” charge as well as spam messages, graymails or mass e-mails are taken into account.
Starting from this frantic reality, Microsoft has decided to shield Exchange Online Protection with new methods capable of preventing Zero Day attacks, for example, and also other types of advanced threats.
Likewise, it would be developing new protection technology against malicious URLs, for identifying senders, for quarantine processes and for reporting, among other novelties.
