Dropbox denies an attack after being 'closed' for maintenance

Dropbox, a popular online file storage and sharing service, has been down from Friday night to Saturday due, according to a brief statement, to “routine internal maintenance.”

An anonymous group called AnonOpsKorea, a Korean branch of Anonymous, had attributed an attack on the company as a ‘tribute’ to programmer and activist Aaron Swartz, on the eve of the anniversary of his death.
