Very recently, Facebook introduced a gradual change whereby videos linked on the social network automatically play when scrolling our bio. The benefit has not been to the liking of almost anyone. Fortunately, it can be deactivated in a few clicks.
In the desktop browser
The easiest option is to go to the Facebook settings and disable the automatic playback of videos. This option is only available if the automatic videos function is already active in our account, of course.
Another possibility, if we use Chrome, is to configure the extensions to block automatic reproduction under the Facebook domain. To do this, you have to do two things:
