A few days after the start of the 2014 Brazil Soccer World Cup, cybercriminals take advantage of the situation to swindle lovers of the so-called Sports King.
The Kaspersky Lab analysts report notes that a network of scammers, mostly of Brazilian origin, have been found who carry out sophisticated phishing and malware attacks to steal information from the computer and then empty your bank accounts.
According to Fabio Assolini, Senior Security Researcher of the Global Research and Analysis Team at Kaspersky Lab, the company detects between 50 and 60 new phishing domains every day, and that’s just in Brazil.
In this way, cybercriminals clone pages known to us, which are opened normally by users without knowing that they are giving an open letter to someone else accessing their information.
