A study carried out jointly by the universities of Florida, Michigan and Washington maintains that consulting your smartphone for work reasons until late in the day reduces the hours of sleep of workers and makes them, therefore, less productive than if they were not do so.
Researchers found that late-day smartphone use for work causes reduced sleep hours. Worse sleep, moreover, locks up workers in a kind of domino effect that makes them wake up in a worse mood and be less concentrated throughout the day.
