When BlackBerry decided to release BBM (BlackBerry Messenger), its instant messaging service, and launch it on the App Store and Google Play, surely they never imagined that the acceptance would be so great, especially considering a sector so difficult to gain a foothold as is that of instant messaging.
In just 60 days since BlackBerry launched BBM in the App Store and Google Play, more than 40 million new users are already using the application. As reflected in iPhone in Canada, these numbers are quite impressive and make it quite clear that the decision to make BBM a multiplatform service was a success.
In addition, the company also promised future features that would be incorporated into the application next year, but not before fixing some more pressing serious problems.
