In defense of the national industry, the government of Cristina Fernández de Kitchner will limit the acquisitions that Argentines may make of goods from abroad to two only purchases per year through the Internet, from where up to 65% of the products come according to government sources that are bought in the country.
The limitation is established with a limit of 25 dollars and two acquisitions per year, from which to continue acquiring other products through the Network, the interested party must register as an importer and pay a tax equivalent to 50% of the value of the merchandise.
