February 19, 2015

Apple has updated its international trade policy with a section that echoes the normalization of relations between the United States and Cuba and notifies that some of its products will participate in this opening. From what it follows that they will soon arrive on the Caribbean island.

In the section dedicated to this issue on its official website, the Cupertino company has included an epigraph entitled “Support for the Cuban people”, in which it indicates the creation, by the US authorities, of a new export license called SCP , an acronym that corresponds to “Support for the Cuban People”, which authorizes the sale of certain communication assets in Cuba. Among these goods, they point out from Apple, are some of its products and software.
