The landing of WiFi in the operating system will mean that some clocks that already have this type of connection begin to use it effectively. This means that you can use ‘apps’ or receive notifications without the device having to be connected via Bluetooth to the phone’s data.
In addition to this novelty, highly demanded by users, Android Wear will also include gesture control. Thanks to this new feature, a simple movement of the wrist will be enough to activate some functions of a ‘smartwatch’ without having to use the other hand to touch the screen or without resorting to a voice command. The last and least spectacular difference that the new version of Android Wear will add is that it will make access to some ‘apps’ and contacts faster and easier.
via Android Wear will support WiFi and gesture control in its next update.
