The app is not yet available in app stores. It’s called Pocket Points, and it’s not a piece of software to block students’ cell phones or force them not to use them the hard way. On the contrary, it is the students themselves who install it, recommend it, and use it. How is it possible?
Pocket Points is an application that turns the non-use of the smartphone into a game. The software begins by detecting whether the student’s phone is at the college or university. The game consists of activating the application at the beginning of the class and trying not to use the mobile. The application begins to generate points after 20 minutes as long as the screen is not unlocked. The longer we are without unlocking, the more points it generates.
via The best way to prevent the use of the mobile in class is a great app.
