Knowing that wind energy is positioning itself as one of the most important green energies, and trying to innovate, Altaeros Energies, a company founded in 2010 within MIT, presented its “Buoyant Airborne Turbine” prototype, BAT for friends. This prototype seeks to be a low-cost solution to bring energy to remote places where people are still dependent on fossil fuels.
Sounds like a classic startup speech, right? There is a problem and we have an ingenious solution, which in this case is also extremely simple.
