For some time, Amazon has been involved in a private dispute over the Hachette publishing house in the United States, as a result of certain contracts that have been in negotiation for a long time and that have not yet been closed. And to show that Amazon is in control of the situation, nothing better than a boycott against all the books of the publisher.
In practice, this means that Hachette’s books are not discounted, in certain formats they are impossible to buy, or users are simply urged to buy titles from other publishers on similar topics. And due to those coincidences, those who have managed to buy books have suffered with exaggerated delays in delivery times.
