Two hours and 42 minutes a day on mobile devices, that’s the average time consumed by the average consumer in the United States, according to new statistics from Flurry, the application analytics software and developer tools.
According to this measurement, 86% of that time is dedicated to managing applications and the rest to mobile (web) browsing. If we compare the figures of last year with those of five years before, we see that the rise in mobile use has been only 2.5 percent, but even so, these devices still occupy a large part of consumers’ time.
Gaming applications rule 32 percent of consumers’ time and social apps like Facebook or Twitter and messaging services went from 24 percent to 28 percent.
