Aeromexico will provide broadband Wi-Fi during some of its flights using technology provided by Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic), making the airline the first in Latin America to offer this service.
In a statement, the firm specified that it will use the Ku-band satellite service of the same company on nine aircraft in its Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner fleet.
In that sense, he explained that said aircraft will include a system provided by Panasonic for inflight entertainment with Elite 16-inch screens and high definition in Premier class, as well as touch screens with Eco Monitor for Economy class.
