They create a robot that helps children with autism learn and develop communication skills, according to teachers at a school for children with special needs in southern England.
Teachers at Tracks, a special nursery for autistic children from 2 to 6 years old, have noticed improvements in the communication process of the little ones since they interact with Kasper.
Kasper is a humanoid robot, developed by engineers at the University of Hertfordshire, that can emit simple gestures and repetitive phrases, just as autistic children like them.
