The fever of the ‘selfies’ does not understand nationalities, sexes or religions, something that worries (and a lot, it seems) a young Muslim cleric from Indonesia, Felix Siauw, who has published a 17-point manifesto through Twitter about the dangers of self-photos.
This Indonesian argues that taking selfies often implies succumbing to pride, arrogance and ostentation, defects that do not match the values of Islam. He has especially criticized women who take a lot of photos.
