This year we are seeing significant growth in the competition for mobile messaging applications. One aspect that has motivated the appearance of new options is privacy. More and more services appear that claim to be respectful of their users’ communications. One of those new arrivals in the mobile messaging app market is Wiper (gowiper.com). Its main feature is the possibility for users to completely erase the conversations, disappearing them from both the sender’s and recipient’s mobile devices and even from the servers themselves, eliminating all traces of communication.
Wiper also enables encrypted audio calls, sending images and texts, and alerting users when recipients copy or take screenshots of content on a device. With this, they intend to offer more transparency in its operation, so that users can have a better idea of what the recipients are doing with the information received in the conversations. Wiper is currently available for both Android and iOS devices.
