60 percent of people touch a cell phone at least once a day

During the Innovate 2014 technology congress, which takes place in Orlando –Florida, USA-, experts revealed that 60% of the world’s population has contact with a mobile device at least once a day. This figure is close to exceeding the number of people worldwide who have access to drinking water and basic sanitation, which is currently 64%.

At the Latin American level, the trend is that more and more people have two cell phones, and 80 percent of those people with electronic devices enter a social network such as Facebook or Twitter every day.
