The main technology companies have tried to convince us that 4K resolution is the future of audiovisual content. But this is only due to a sales strategy after having recognized that 3D was not well received by consumers. The biggest problem with 3D was not so much the lack of content as televisions had the ability to create a basic three-dimensional effect on content that was not of this format originally but the ridiculous requirement to wear glasses. In the case of Ultra HD, the content is excessively scarce and it does not seem that in the short term there will be someone willing to modify this.
