3D Systems has released its new 3D printer called Ekocycle 3D. This device is capable of using disposable plastic bottles as raw material to print objects, in contrast to other 3D printers that use cartridges of certain specific polymers.
Thus, three 568ml Coca-Cola bottles can fill 25% of a cartridge, which will later shape the filaments with which it is built under traditional 3D printing techniques.
In addition, the Ekocycle 3D has an attractive white and red design, along with a touch screen to control the basic functions of the device.
