More than 18% of the robberies that occurred in New York City throughout 2013 involved iPhones and iPads, according to New York Police Department sources cited by the Wall Street Journal.
Around 8,000 of these mobile devices from the Apple company were stolen last year in the Big Apple, a figure that represents an increase of 13% compared to that registered in 2012.
