With the MiniLED / MicroLED panels just around the corner, in good time Samsung Display has announced that in February the mass production of OLED panels of a size ranging from 13.3 inches to 16 inches oriented to laptops, which implies that for the first time we will see a laptop of 15.6 inches with a Full HD OLED panelAlthough of course, it is not something so tempting when you see the prices that some laptops with OLED panels have reached (almost 5,000 euros for a Razer with Core i7-10875H and a Quadro RTX 5000).

While the company did not disclose the refresh rates, at least we know that we will have models with a resolution of 1080p and 4K at the top, which offer a response time 10x lower than a typical LCD panel (0.1 millisecond), promise to cover the color space DCI-P3 at 120% and the HDR by 85%, exceed a typical contrast of 1,000,000: 1, and have a minimum brightness of 0.0005 nits for deep blacks.

Hopefully next week, during CES 2021, we will see some teams equipped with these panels.
